Authority & transparency

Europe Information Gateway is an independent, informational project.

It is not an official website of the European Union, any national government, or any public authority. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any European or national institution.

The information presented on this site is provided for educational and contextual purposes only. While care is taken to ensure accuracy and clarity, it should not be understood as legal, regulatory, or professional advice.

Official decisions, validations, and authoritative information are always issued by the relevant public institutions and should be consulted directly where required.

Standard outbound-link wording

This is the exact wording used wherever EIG links to independent resources:

This page links to independent informational resources that explore this system in more detail. These resources are provided for context and further reading and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a substitute for official European or national authorities.

Data use

EIG is designed to be minimal. It does not ask for accounts, logins, or personal profiles. If basic server logs exist (as on most websites), they are used only for security and operational stability.

There is no advertising on EIG. There are no affiliate links. There is no email capture or tracking funnel.
